Every morning after a Suns game, A Dry Heat brings you the Suns Stat of the Day – the number that sums up the previous day’s win or loss.  Because numbers speak louder than words.  Or a number speaks a 1000 words.  Or something.

Suns Stat of the Day: 0

O.  Zero.  Zilch.  That’s the number of minutes that the erratic Gerald Green played in last night’s 99-93 victory over the Chicago Bulls.  It was the first DNP – Coach’s Decision of the season for Green, who is fifth on the team in scoring and seventh in minutes.  Coach Jeff Hornacek says the lack of burn for the wing wasn’t for any particular reason other than getting the Suns three-headed guard monster of Goran Dragic, Eric Bledsoe, and Isaiah Thomas more minutes, but we’ll see if that is really the case going forward.
