Every morning after a Suns game, A Dry Heat brings you the Suns Stat of the Day – the number that sums up the previous day’s win or loss.  Because numbers speak louder than words.  Or a number speaks a 1000 words. Or something.

Suns Stat of the Day: 9

9.  The number of losses the Suns have piled up in their last 10 games.  Last night the defending champion Spurs were the perpetrators, putting a 107-91 beatdown on Phoenix.  In fairness, the Suns were pretty shorthanded – Brandon Knight, Alex Len, and Brandan Wright all didn’t suit up.  Eric Bledsoe (20 points, 4 boards, 10 assists) and Gerald Green (23 points, 4 boards) had strong games for Phoenix, but that’s about it.  One more meaningless game to go and we can call it a wrap.
