Suns Schedule: The Week That Will Be: Mar 30-Apr 5

A disastrous last week pretty much buried the Suns playoff hopes.  While there is still the slightest of chances they can still make the playoffs, this week probably will extinguish that flame, as they start it off with two tough road games.  But, on the bright side, Brandon Knight is back.

Mon, Mar 30th at Portland

The Blazers stole one from Phoenix in the Valley last week, now they get the boys in purple in the Moda Center, where they are a formidable 29-7.  The team appears to have adjusted to life without Wesley Matthews, as they head into this game on a three-game winning streak.  Going to be tough for Phoenix to grab a W here.

Thurs, Apr 2nd at Golden State

If it’s going to be tough to get a win in Portland, it’ll be next to impossible grabbing one in the Bay.  The Warriors, the league’s best team, is 34-2 at Oracle Arena, not having lost there since Jan 27th when the Bulls bested them in overtime (the Spurs are the only other team to win at Golden State).  And the Warriors thumped the Suns by 19 points the last time they hosted them.  As long as they don’t take the foot off the gas or decide to rest players, Phoenix isn’t escaping here with a win.

Sat, Apr 4th vs Utah

Assuming Phoenix hasn’t totally thrown in the towel by this point, they should be able to snap their (expected) losing streak and beat the mediocre Jazz, who are abysmal on the road (39% winning percentage).

Projected record for the week: 1-2
