Every morning after a Suns game, A Dry Heat brings you the Suns Stat of the Day – the number that sums up the previous day’s win or loss.  Because numbers speak louder than words.  Or a number speaks a 1000 words. Or something.

Suns Stat of the Day: 31

31.  The number of shots the Suns missed in the second half last night in Atlanta (they shot 9-40), as they got a serious beatdown by the Hawks, 96-69.  Gerald Green was the only Sun to score in double figures, Eric Bledsoe got ejected for arguing a call that WENT IN HIS FAVOR, it sounds like the Morris twins will end up being charged with assault in their ongoing police investigation, Alex Len‘s face is still too swollen to get a mask fitted to play in, Brandon Knight is likely to miss the rest of the season.  Good times, good times.
