Every morning after a Suns game, A Dry Heat brings you the Suns Stat of the Day – the number that sums up the previous day’s win or loss.  Because numbers speak louder than words.  Or a number speaks a 1000 words.  Or something.

Suns Stat of the Day: 17

17.  A career high in points last night for rookie T.J. Warren, who came off the bench and shot 8-10 from the floor in 19 minutes of action.  Warren, with his activity and movement off the ball, could become a new age Cedric Ceballos for the Suns.  He wasn’t alone in having a strong game off the bench last night, as Brandan Wright and Marcus Thornton also helped lead Phoenix to a much needed W.  2.5 games out of the last playoff spot now.
