Every morning after a Suns game, A Dry Heat brings you the Suns Stat of the Day – the number that sums up the previous day’s win or loss.  Because numbers speak louder than words.  Or a number speaks a 1000 words.  Or something.

Suns Stat of the Day: 42

After scratching back from huge deficits multiple times, the Suns entered the fourth quarter last night versus Portland down only one point.  Then they gave up 42 points.  42.  LaMarcus Aldridge‘s team-record 220nd double-double lead the way for the Blazers.  And just like that, after a very promising start to 2015, the wheels are falling off this season for the Suns.
