Every morning after a Suns game, A Dry Heat brings you the Suns Stat of the Day – the number that sums up the previous day’s win or loss.  Because numbers speak louder than words.  Or a number speaks a 1000 words.  Or something.

Suns Stat of the Day: 4

Four straight games – and six out of seven – the Suns have stumbled out of the gate and been outscored in the first quarter.  Last night in the Windy City they shot themselves in the foot, coughing the ball up eight times in the first stanza alone versus the Bulls.  And, like usual, they had to claw back into the game, only to fall short once again.  The Suns bench crew of Marcus Morris, Brandon Knight, Brandan Wright, and Archie Goodwin all had strong games, leading one to surmise that perhaps it’s time for Coach Jeff Hornacek to shuffle up the starting five to ensure the team stops digging themselves into such insurmountable holes.
