Every morning after a Suns game, A Dry Heat brings you the Suns Stat of the Day – the number that sums up the previous day’s win or loss. Because numbers speak louder than words. Or a number speaks a 1000 words. Or something.
Suns Stat of the Day: 34-17
34-17. The third quarter score in the Suns favor, helping them erase the 15-point lead they spotted the Magic last night in Orlando. Brandon Knight had his best game as a Sun (28 points, 7 assists, 3 steals), Markieff Morris shot an impressive 11-17 from the floor, Eric Bledsoe flirted with a triple-double (13 points, 7 board, 9 assists – we’ll ignore the 7 steals). And on a night when both of the teams they’re in a dog fight with for the last playoff spot, Oklahoma City and New Orleans, won, the Suns at least kept pace. Off to Brooklyn now.
