Every morning after a Suns game, A Dry Heat brings you the Suns Stat of the Day – the number that sums up the previous day’s win or loss.  Because numbers speak louder than words.  Or a number speaks a 1000 words.  Or something.

Suns Stat of the Day: 29

29.  The percentage that the sharpshooting Phoenix Suns shot in the first half last night in Cleveland.  The final score of 89-79 betrayed the fact that the Suns got blown out – only a 27-9 fourth quarter made the final deficit respectable looking.  LeBron James had a quiet game, shooting 6-16 from the floor, so this was contest the Suns could had stolen a win in.  To compound matters, New Orleans won again last night, putting another full game between them and Phoenix for the #9 spot in the West.
