Every morning after a Suns game, A Dry Heat brings you the Suns Stat of the Day – the number that sums up the previous day’s win or loss.  Because numbers speak louder than words.  Or a number speaks a 1000 words.  Or something.

Suns Stat of the Day: 24, 9

After a sluggish Suns start to the game last night, things were looking dire for Phoenix once again.  Then Marcus Morris came in and saved the day.  24 points and 9 boards in the first half alone, only one point and one rebound away from his career highs.  Mook ended up besting his career bests – 34 points and 12 boards – and helped the Suns get back on the winning track.
