Every morning after a Suns game, A Dry Heat brings you the Suns Stat of the Day – the number that sums up the previous day’s win or loss.  Because numbers speak louder than words.  Or a number speaks a 1000 words.  Or something.

Suns Stat of the Day: 1

One.  One made field goal the Suns starting backcourt of Eric Bledsoe and Gerald Green made in the first half last night versus Minnesota.  In a game that the Suns needed (and should have) won in their death struggle for the last playoff spot in the Western Conference, they came out flat to start the game once again and let Minnesota build up a double-digit lead.  Phoenix clawed back, like they normally do, but it wasn’t enough to top the second-worst team in the NBA.
