Another Phoenix Suns season has come to a close, prematurely once more.  Time to debrief and recap how all 14 players currently on the team’s roster fared during the 2014/15 season.  This is The Good, the Bad and the Ugly on Marcus Thornton

2014/15 Phoenix Stats: 9 games, 9.0 mpg, 3.6 ppg, 1.4 rpg, 0.2 apg, 0.7 spg, 0.0 bpg, 0.6 topg, 13-40 FG

Contract Status: Unrestricted Free Agent

The Good

– plays shooting guard!
– can put the ball in the hole

The Bad

– couldn’t get into the Suns rotation consistently despite team’s need for a two-guard
– ended season injured

The Ugly

– for a scorer, he really struggled to score for Phoenix
– shot horrendously

Conclusion

I doubt we’ll see Marcus Thornton in a Suns jersey again.  Adios, amigo.
