Contract Status: Unrestricted Free Agent

The Good

– led the team in three’s made
– very good free throw shooter
– provides explosive scoring off the bench
– should be a perfect fit for Phoenix – athletic, three-point shooter
– ended the season with several strong games
– after a subpar year, team could be able to sign him for rather cheap

The Bad

– more turnovers than assists
– all his shooting %s decreased from 13/14
– very inconsistent all year
– cringe-worthy shot selection

The Ugly

– agent and Jeff Hornacek had an ugly war of words

Conclusion

Not exactly the season Gerald Green was hoping for heading into free agency.  With Jeff Hornacek and Green’s agent battling it out in the press, GG’s days in the Valley may be numbered.
